How to keep my gloves clean?

We like boxing but who likes to smell bad? Nobody! Of course is part of the sport, but there is many ways you can keep your boxing gloves clean and help them last even more time.

When you are done training you leave your gloves with a little bit of sweat (some of us with a LOT of sweat) and this can make the smell a little bad, more if we let the gloves inside our boxing gym. So here are a few tips that you can practice:

  1. Don’t leave your boxing gloves inside the gym bag, if they have sweat the bacterias are going to create bad odors.
  2. Wipe the sweat or extra moisture from the inside and outside with a cloth.
  3. Let you gloves get some air, but never leave them in the sun, this can damage the leather.
  4. Always use hand wraps this can help absorb most of the sweat and prevent your gloves of getting to wet.

This simple tips can help you keep you gloves cleaner!

WHO IS NEXT FOR MANNY?

We all saw the fight this Saturday November 5th between Jessie Vargas and Manny Pacquiao that happened in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the beginning we saw that Jessie was a little bit nervous and slow or maybe getting he was trying to get the rhythm and speed that Manny has. In round 4th we saw a more confident Jessie with some great punches and better movement that made the crowd get excited to see the response of Manny Pacquiao.

All fans were excited to see if Manny still has it and if the called ‘‘underdog’’ Jessie Vargas could beat a champion of 8 different divisions and with 10 years of age more than him. As final result Manny Pacquiao won by unanimous decision, and now he is the new WBO world welterweight champion and we can see that he has no intentions to retire like he said a few months ago on his previous fight.

But now the question that everybody is asking and thinking about…Who will be Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent?

After the fight in an interview they asked him if maybe Terrance Crawford who was on the crowd, but also they mentioned Floyd Mayweather who was on the front row, obviously we all get excited by the thought that maybe a rematch could happen between this two great fighters, Manny just responded to every question that he didn’t know who could be his next opponent.

The final decision will ultimately be Mayweather’s , whether they have a rematch or the don’t. Would you like to see a rematch? There is a few more names on the list like:

Vasyl Lomachenko, Danny Garcia, Keith Thurma, Kell Brook or Amir Khan. Who do you think should be Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent?

Kell Brook again heavier than GGG at the last 7-day pre weight in

From his training camp on Sheffield  Kell Brook weight a 167.8 lbs meanwhile GGG reports 162.9 from Big Bear Ca. This is the final pre weight in check before the official one is in 7 days, let’s mention that back in August 10 at the 30 day weight in, Brook hit the scale at 176 lbs against GGG’s 165.

Regarding this fight, on recent days the WBA’s president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza inform that the WBA Belt will not be on dispute for this fight due the fact that Brook jump 2 weight divisions, and the organism considers this a risky move.

“What we regret the most at the WBA, is that there is no one at the 160 lbs  willing to face GGG and the fact that a 147 lbs   jump up two divisions to do it, is very bad” declares Gilberto Mendoza, WBA president.

JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ JR.; WHAT IS NEXT FOR HIM?

After watching the fight  of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. VS Dominik Britsch this past weekend were he won the match after being out of the ring for a while, people are asking who is next for him.  Some rumors started after the fight between him and Canelo Alvarez who have been the most talked boxers in a few years.
