Who is next for Andre Ward?

We just saw the rematch between Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev, their previous fight was named the best fight of the year and a complete pound for pound fight. In this rematch Ward scored and amazing eight round TKO win over Sergey Kovalev, some people say he showed more power than the first fight where he won by a close unanimous decision. He landed some amazing body shots but finally in the eighth round a decisive punch got Kovalev in trouble.

But now..what is next for Andre Ward?

He is already the best in his category, according to him he could move to cruiserweight  or even heavyweight. Another option is to unify the title and fight Adonis Stevenson who holds another belt in his weight class. Adonis Stevenson already challenged Ward to get the title unified, this is a fight a lot of fans would like to see. Who do you think Andre Ward should fight next?

Diego Corrales VS Jose Luis Castillo

This amazing fight took place in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. Do you remember?

They both stepped into the ring with the goal of giving everything. The fight was known for being the best of 2005, both fighters gave each other amazing and strong punching combinations throughout the entire fight. On round number tenth Castillo knocked Corrales down, a few seconds later he knocked Corrales again. Finally Castillo took Corrales against the ropes and landed a few hard and good punches that made the referee stop the fight.

3 ESSENTIAL TRAINING TIPS

 

You can find a lot of tips when it comes to training, how to move, how many reps, what exercises are better. But they are some essential tips that all athletes must follow and practice. And guess what? They are really easy!

Tip 1: SLEEP

You have to make sure you are resting and sleeping enough. Your muscles need to recover from training, if you don’t sleep you can lose concentration, endurance and much more the next day you are training.

Tip 2: EAT WELL

Eating well doesn’t mean eating a lot! It means you have to eat the right things to keep your body balanced and healthy. Having a good nutrition helps you in everything not only in your training. If you eat well you will have the necessary energy for your workouts.

Tip 3: SET YOUR MIND

Training is not easy, if you want to accomplish changes or certain goals you need to have consistency and focus on the right things. Distractions can occur very easily and not help you get where you want. Set your mind and motivate yourself.

The punching power is generated from the body, not only your arms or fists. Is very important to include all your body when you’re punching. Some simple tips are:

  1. Relax your arms, this will save you more energy during your fight or training, you will increase the speed and have more power.
  2. Rotate your torso, spin into your opponent and and make that punch come out of your shoulders.
  3. Punch from different angles, you can have more opportunities by punching from different angles and rotating.
  4. Exhale on every punch, you release tension in your muscles and you act faster.

Rafael Marquez VS Israel Vazquez

This rivalry had a series of four boxing matches between 2007 and 2010. The first fight was described as “the most entertaining fight series in recent boxing history” and as a “sensational action fight”

In the first bout both boxers landed heavy punches throughout the fight. The fight was being dominated by Marquez, he landed an uppercut that broke the nose of Israel Vazquez in the opening round. Vazquez came back in the third round very strong that he was able to knock Marquez down. By the end of the fifth round the broken nose of Israel Vazquez was becoming a problem, they still continue for two rounds more then Vazquez couldn’t fight anymore and they announced Rafael Marquez as the winner of the fight.

This boxing series ended up with both fighters claiming to victories.
